These Almond Flour Cookie Bars are high in protein and healthy fats, but cut the calories! They’re naturally gluten-free as well.
Almond Flour Cookie Bars
Ingredients:
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp unsweetened applesauce
- 3 Tbsp canola oil (or coconut oil)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine almond flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Add in egg, applesauce, and oil. Mix well.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour dough into a greased 6×6 baking dish
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
