Fish Tacos

Confession: I’ve never been a big fish taco gal.  I dono why.  I just always thought I’d rather have beef than fish.  Until today… when I tried these Beer Battered Gorton’s Seafood filets on tacos.

First off, they’re frozen, which we all love right now #COVIDfood.  Second, they’re sustainably wild-caught and full of omega 3s.  Third, they make great tacos.  Did I mention that they’re beer-battered? (Yes, yes I did).

You could use any frozen fish for these, but I love Gorton’s because they use the whole fillet (no fillers or “fish parts”).

Just baked the fillets, stuck them in corn tortillas, and topped with avocado, slaw, pickled jalapenos, and hot sauce!  The most simple, COVID-friendly meal.
